Semi-Fin­ished Plas­tic Products 

Semi-fin­ished or semi-fin­ished prod­ucts are made of var­i­ous plas­tics and des­ig­nate prod­ucts with the sim­plest of geome­tries. Usu­al­ly a sin­gle mate­r­i­al is used, which is formed into the desired shape by form­ing or machining.

 
 

Among oth­er things, this mechan­i­cal pro­cess­ing is used to pro­duce rods, pro­files or sheets from select­ed plas­tics. Since the qual­i­ty of the semi-fin­ished plas­tic prod­uct has a deci­sive influ­ence on the prop­er­ties of the lat­er end prod­uct, a cor­rect choice of mate­r­i­al must be made in advance. Among oth­er things, resis­tance to cer­tain media and the exist­ing tem­per­a­ture con­di­tions in use should be tak­en into account.
