Constructions in the sea face the challenge of the ocean current carrying away the seabed around the foundation. Jaeger Mare Solutions provide sacks and nets specially developed from basalt which protect against scouring. This provides an individual, environmentally friendly, and flexible solution, being able to fill it on site.
Jaeger basalt bags are custom made according to customer request and are ideal for ballasting submarine cables or creating structures at junctions. Our basalt fabric is a specially prepared natural product which does not rot, and which is resistant to temperatures from ‑260°C to 800°C.
Our Jaeger protectors are a UV and sea water resistant protection against corrosion for the heavily stressed domain of offshore wind turbines. Due to the rough surface of the protectors we achieved safer climbing for the technicians and a longer period for loading.

Maintenance boats regularly sail to the offshore wind turbines out at sea. In stormy seas such a boat is moved up and down strongly by the waves and the crossing over to the plant becomes dangerous.
Our protector, which is attached to the boat landing, keeps the maintenance boat (CTV) stable in position due to its rough surface. It allows the technicians to climb over safely and quickly. Made of basalt, the Jäger protector is environmentally friendly and protects the steel structures of offshore wind turbines from both corrosion and mechanical stress.
