Andreas Jäger is the new UVN President

The general meeting of the Lower Saxony Business Associations (UVN) unanimously elected Dr.-Ing. Andreas Jäger, Managing Partner of Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH, as the new President of the Lower Saxony Business Associations (UVN). He succeeds Hermann M. Bahlsen, who chaired the presidium for 15 years.

After completing his studies in mechanical engineering, Andreas Jäger received his doctorate in 1990 from Joachim Milberg at the Technical University of Munich in the field of production automation. He gained his first professional experience at the Regensburg plant and in central assembly planning at BMW AG in Munich. In 1994, together with two of his brothers, he joined the family business as the third generation and has since been instrumental in determining the successful development of the JÄGER GROUP.

The UVN has 100 member associations. All companies in Lower Saxony have to face the current challenges such as climate neutrality, shortage of skilled workers and digital transformation. Not only in our family business, it is important to successfully implement innovative ideas step by step, to take people along with us in the transformation of processes and the changes in society, and not to lose sight of the goal. In the UVN network, Andreas Jäger as president will focus on finding joint solutions and ways to strengthen the ability to act and competitiveness of the Lower Saxony economy and thus also to be able to achieve the set goals.
