Jäger Gum­mi und Kun­st­stoff intro­duces a new ERP system

The advanc­ing dig­i­tal­iza­tion, high secu­ri­ty stan­dards and the cur­rent chal­lenges of the mar­ket bring our cur­rent IT sys­tem to its lim­it. That is why Jäger Gum­mi und Kun­st­stoff GmbH has decid­ed to imple­ment a new ERP sys­tem. In the future, we will rely on the cloud solu­tion Microsoft Dynam­ics 365 for Finance and Oper­a­tions (D365 F&O cloud). By switch­ing to D365 F&O, we are paving the way to the com­mon tech­nol­o­gy plat­form that will unite the solu­tions of all group com­pa­nies in the future. With this, we want to be more agile, faster and more effi­cient for you. 

 

What does this mean in detail?

  • We are cur­rent­ly in the final phase of intro­duc­ing a new ERP sys­tem. With Go Live from Tues­day, Octo­ber 4, 2022 , we will already be work­ing almost ful­ly with the new sys­tem. Please take into account that the ref­er­ence num­bers will only change in indi­vid­ual cas­es as well as the usu­al lay­out of our quo­ta­tions, order con­fir­ma­tions, deliv­ery bills, invoic­es, etc. will change slightly. 
  • We will car­ry out the com­mis­sion­ing step by step for the indi­vid­ual areas. So that we are avail­able to you from the start as usu­al with as few inter­rup­tions as possible.
  • So that the peri­od can be com­plet­ed accord­ing­ly in the pre­vi­ous ERP sys­tem and the data trans­fer to “D365 F&O” can take place seam­less­ly, no deliv­er­ies from the logis­tics cen­ter will take place in the peri­od from Tues­day, 27.09.2022, to Fri­day, 30.09.2022. There will also be no goods receipts.
  • In imple­ment­ing the test phase, we have nat­u­ral­ly been metic­u­lous and care­ful. How­ev­er, it will only become clear in actu­al day-to-day busi­ness whether all process­es have been imple­ment­ed in line with require­ments. Expe­ri­ence has shown that it is not uncom­mon for projects of this size to require fur­ther improve­ments in cer­tain areas after the launch date.

We would like to ask you to report any notice­able devi­a­tions or errors back to us — so that we can rec­ti­fy them quick­ly and move swift­ly into reg­u­lar oper­a­tion.
