The white paper focus­es on the ben­e­fit of using a sin­gle inte­grat­ed com­po­nent to pre­vent water pen­e­tra­tion and dam­age to RV slide outs.

By cap­i­tal­iz­ing on Jaeger’s expe­ri­ence of using proven auto­mo­tive grade, high­ly engi­neered poly­mers, the his­tor­i­cal approach of a two-piece slide-out seal can be con­sol­i­dat­ed into a sin­gle, inte­grat­ed, mul­ti-poly­mer­ic pro­file. The ben­e­fit for RV man­u­fac­tur­ers is the reduc­tion of unique part num­bers, inven­to­ry stor­age space, and improved instal­la­tion process­es. These high­ly engi­neered mate­ri­als have been exten­sive­ly test­ed in harsh ultra­vi­o­let and tem­per­a­ture cycling envi­ron­ments pro­duc­ing durable seals that elim­i­nate water, dust, and tem­per­a­ture intrusions.
