FOR A GOOD HARVEST

Harvesting machines – hidden innovations made of rubber and plastic

The efficiency and reliability of harvesting machines form the basis for a good harvest. The focus is increasingly on efficiency and environmental compatibility. Innovations in harvesting machines are not always visible at first glance, but they are directly evident when they are used in the field. We supply key components and assemblies that are used by leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery in combine harvesters or mowers as original equipment:

We achieve real innovations in these agricultural machinery components in the internally installed machine parts through material expertise and specific production knowledge in the field of plastics and rubber. Because only the right mixture of materials and specially adapted processing in production guarantee the resistance of the components and more complex assemblies to chemical influences from the crop.

At the same time, they ensure reliable use under various climatic conditions. The combination of lightweight plastic with elastic rubber creates innovative components that combine stiffness, notch toughness and elasticity in a sensible way and fit perfectly for every application.

Molded rubber parts and plastic solutions are increasingly replacing the heavy and inflexible steel parts in machines. By working directly with the manufacturers of harvesting machines and taking on tasks in prototype development, we know the requirements of the agricultural industry. This is how the development partnership with the JÄGER Group creates real advantages for you!

Product development for harvesting machines

A farmer needs harvesting machines that work reliably, gently and efficiently in the short time windows of the harvesting season on his soil and with his crop. This is why we develop assemblies and components for agricultural machinery with components made of rubber and plastic. Their durability and flexibility enable them to be used when needed. The crop must be harvested quickly and processed and transported gently.

The assemblies we develop for harvesting machines contribute to the reliability of the machines through their special abrasion resistance during operation. Together with you, we develop individual prototypes that are tailored to your specific requirements. Our test procedures simulate the use of the products and thus reduce the need for field tests. This also saves valuable development time when developing new harvesting machines.

CASE STUDY: IDLER ROLLER

Lightweight components are particularly in demand in agricultural technology. By developing the lightweight idler, we create a real advantage and can thus save several kilograms of weight on beet harvesters. Find out about other advantages in our case study!

Integrated individual development for a long product life cycle of agricultural machinery

In our supply chain management, the individual service modules complement each other to form a complete package tailored to our customers’ needs: customer-specific consulting and early integration into our customers’ development teams is the basis for individual solutions for harvesting machines. With efficient project management, we make use of all possibilities for process optimization. Our suppliers are also intelligently integrated from the outset with a high degree of transparency and cost control. In this way we create real added value for all parties involved!

When developing new or further developing harvesting machines, we focus not only on the product itself, but also on the processes for its manufacture, use, maintenance and recycling. This also significantly reduces the time required for re-procurement and assembly of our supplied assemblies.

Together with you, we develop and test new rubber and plastic components for the harvesters based on the existing requirements. Our many years of experience contribute to the targeted expansion of the manufacturer’s competence in sub-areas. Development times are reduced by constant availability and the use of our own material analyses, test benches and production solutions.
