High-tech power generation off the coast

The production of wind energy is to be further expanded in the coming years. In Germany, offshore wind energy off the coasts of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea is facing special challenges: For reasons of nature conservation, wind farms may only be built on the high seas. In order to ensure an appropriate water depth, this is usually done more than 20 kilometres from the mainland. Therefore, the demands on the installed technology of such wind turbines are extremely high.

Above all, the construction and expansion of such plants at sea differs immensely from wind energy projects on land. The additional requirements here include the foundation on the seabed, the laying of cables underwater and also the maintenance processes. Our practicable and sustainable products for offshore plants offer the ideal solution. The JÄGER Group has the necessary experience to be able to react quickly to future requirements.

Our offshore products include

Products from basalt fibres

Thanks to the comprehensive industry knowledge of our teams, we are very familiar with the current and future challenges of the offshore industry, especially with regard to environmental issues. We therefore rely on basalt as a further central material – a natural product with which you as a plant manufacturer can significantly increase your share of recyclable material. Our solutions for offshore plants are convincing: the basalt fibre protectors and basalt bags.

The protectors prevent damage to the boat landings of offshore wind turbines. The protectors can be installed preventively onshore or subsequently offshore as a repair solution. The basalt bags, on the other hand, are used to protect cables and pipelines in the offshore area. Installation at sea is simple and low-risk for you, as no divers are required. The material is not water-soluble and does not decompose naturally.

The offshore industry relies on our experience

The wind power industry thrives on the further development of the latest methods and technologies to increase the performance of wind turbines. The JÄGER Group has been setting new standards in this area for years and now also accompanies the offshore industry with sound know-how and innovative products. Contact us now and let us advise you on our solutions and processes for the offshore sector.
