WIND OF CHANGE!

Wind Energy — Sustainable energy production

With the energy turnaround, wind energy and its expansion will play a key role. The construction and expansion of offshore plants off the German coasts as well as repowering, i.e. the replacement of older wind turbines with modern and more efficient plants, are the decisive factors here.

Wind turbines can now be seen on many open spaces – and this development of wind energy use and wind power generation is far from complete. Plastics processing and process engineering are becoming increasingly important. Our components and welded assemblies made of rubber and plastic have established us over decades as a proven supplier for companies in the field of energy technology.

High-quality products for demanding applications

The JÄGER Group produces moulded parts for the nacelle and the drive train, composite parts and sealing profiles for nacelle and spinner fairings as well as flow aids for the production of rotor blades. Our clients benefit from our comprehensive concepts for transport protection as well as the added value of our rubber-metal elements for vibration damping and decoupling of wind turbines. The materials for each project are individually adapted to the existing and expected influences.

The basic structure of the plant, consisting of a lattice tower, tubular steel tower or concrete tower, is also included in our development processes. Depending on the speed, rotor surface or tower diameter of the planned plant, the specific material properties must be taken into account from both a technical and an economic point of view. Sound project planning and cost-oriented product selection are therefore essential. Wind turbines and wind power plants can only reach their full performance if all installed parts are optimally matched.

Due to our close and trustful cooperation with the manufacturers of wind turbines – especially with the manufacturers of rotor blades, rotor hubs and rotor shafts as well as turbines and nacelles – we are very familiar with the challenges of wind energy. This means that we in the JÄGER Group have a constant eye on the developments in the industry and can react quickly and easily to any changes.

Shaping the future with advanced technology

Companies that design and build wind turbines need a strong and flexible partner at their side. Comprehensive know-how, performance and efficiency combined with an excellent worldwide network qualify us for this!

Our process-oriented project management allows short development and production times. Consulting is a central element in this: We offer you materials, components and groups of components optimally developed for the respective process, as well as, if required, the appropriate logistics and eBusiness concepts for low reaction times in day-to-day business.

This also includes supplier management, based on a cooperative collaboration that has grown over the years. With the help of specialized suppliers, we assume a cross-sectional function in the supply chain – with access to state-of-the-art technology. Strategic partnerships also open up new business areas.
